Eric Hufschmid Hates Animals

…thus he hates himself.  The only cognitively important difference between animals and man is that he has a more advanced speech processor, and oversized reasoning capacity- and some animals are contendors in the brain size aspect.

Yes humans are ‘special’… yet so is every other life form on earth.

Hufschmid must have had some bad experiences as a child or perhaps has that lack of empathy associated with the sociopath.

Anyone who has ever spent time with animals know that they feel intense emotions, they do think, and have unique individual personalities.

Only the very emotionally and spiritually distant, or those under the influence of some evil belief system could think such as Hufschmid relays in the quoted passage below.

Perhaps the same way of thinking permeates the elites, only they think of all humans as ‘biological robots’.

I pity Eric Hufschmid.  He clearly is missing out on an essential part of the human experience, our critical connection to the natural world through our non-human friends.

Animals are biological robots that have no desires or thoughts. They neither enjoy life, nor dislike life. They have no leisure activities, either. Everything animals do has a very important reason for it. For example, we assume that whales are “playing” and “having fun” when they jump out of the water, but animals don’t “have fun”. All of their behavior that we interpret as “playfulness” or as “leisure activities” developed for a very serious reason simply because the competitive struggle for life does not permit frivolous qualities. Animals have only the qualities that are truly necessary for their survival and reproduction. (I have more about this concept in Part_3 of my Dumbing Down series.)

    Hey anarchore!

Long time no “see”! I almost forgot that you created this new site.

Ouch, Hufschmid has a thing with animals, and it’s not genuine affection, it’s an ugly obsession with animals… and sex (and/or a combination of both).

His talk about humans being “biological computers” is grotesque at best, it’s a crippled vision of the human being, but it’s a view that is very common nowadays, sadly. Thinking of it, it makes me ask if he’s not subtly promoting scientology, but maybe it has nothing to do with it. Once I was listening to Tom Cruise on Youtube, talking about scientology of course, and it reminded me of some articles by Hufshcmid on how technology wil transform our citites and make the world a better place. This is another sick materialistic Utopia that will lead the world to ruins and dehumanization, as all materialistic utopias do. I believe that America was founded by lodges who were driven by the vision of Francis Bacon’s “Nova Atlantis”. I believe Francis Bacon, along with his homonymous Rober Bacon (father of the scientific method) had a huge influence on the positivistic-materialistic turn that science took in the last few centuries. Moore’s Utopia was also very materialistic. This “New World”, its world-encompassing materialism, is the home of Satan himself. I guess Satan would be an American if he had to incarnate. For sure, he would be friends with Eric Hufschmid. He could even bear the name Bollyn… Who knows.

in 17 days an Israeli dolphin class sub traveling at cruise speed of 37 km/h could travel 15 096 km. Enough time to easily travel between its points of operation in Christchurch NZ and Japan.

I think he needs some pets, but then again I wouldn’t wish that on a dog or cat. Perhaps some goldfish at first – to open his heart to other beings.

Well now you’re leaving me in the dust with your references. 🙂 Which is good, because my knowledge is shallow.

I may have some of the scientific enthusiasm still from my youth with Isaac Asimov, Carl Sagan and David Suzuki opening my eyes to different aspects of science.

I think we can and should pursue the utopia(as I understand it, manmade paradise), but it must have a grounding in compassion for all beings. Otherwise we get distopia.

It makes me sick to read about UBC’s plan to kill sea turtles in the name of very dubious science.

Science needs to be divorced completely from capitalistic concerns, to be harnessed to do good instead of evil.

How can science be of any good when there are examples like this, where ego, a long tradition of unconscious, wrong practices and pursuit of funding stand in the way of humans progress.
